Beacon is an excellent American diner in Aoyama dori (in between Shibuya and Aoyama) and in front of Aoyama Gakuin University. With its good menu and selection of beers, it makes a successful lunch/dinner (be sure to book a table in advance).
The classic burger they serve (which you can customize with the toppings of your choice) is like the venue, just excellent! I ordered a cheeseburger and was quite surprised by the quality of both the meat and the cheese. It’s quite frankly one of the best classic-style burger you’ll find in Tokyo. It’s also the best burger option of all the T.Y Express group restaurants (see Smokehouse and T.Y Harbor or their website below for more information). The fries are quite good as well.
A special note on the good peach ice-tea served as you take your seat and their amazing apple crumble for desert.
