Sunny Diner

Sunny Diner is a small burger joint, decorated as an American diner, hidden in a backstreet near Kitasenju station. The staff is welcoming and the atmosphere is great. As you enter, you easily see why this place is popular.
They serve you an entire plate with the burger toppings separated (you have to assemble the burger and add the sauce). The burgers are original and the menu offers various complex concoctions (Hawaian burgers, Mexican burgers, Locomoco burgers…). Their flagship, the Sunny burger, somehow reminds me of a British breakfast with their soft bun, egg and bacon. You like it or you don’t, you’ll have to try to make your opinion.
A special note on the fried potatoes: thin and crispy, they were among the best I had in Tokyo!
