Truth be told, I was a bit worried with this one. A co-worker warned me (I have a real job by the way) that because Hungry Heaven was a yakiniku restaurant at night, their meat tasted like yakiniku and was thus unfit for burgers. Well, I’m happy to say that their burgers are in fact excellent and that the subtle “yakiniku touch” (provided you avoid the “grilled-grilled-grilled burger” or “smoked bacon”) actually blends in well. The simple cheese burger I ordered was cooked medium-rare and was good. Their fish burger was pretty tasty as well. A note about the size: these burgers are huge! With a comparatively low price they are a good value for your money.
Note that Hungry Heaven has two venues: one in Meguro and another in Kami Itabashi.
